Summer Camp is Fun, and We Get to do Karate

Summer, summer, summer, summertime! With this crazy rain we’ve had this winter, summer sounds really nice right about now. And as much joy that summer brings us, your kiddos will be out of school and the last thing you may want is them home with nothing to do. We think every kid should have a fun summer and designed our summer camp accordingly.

Summer camp begins May 26, 2020. While camp doesn’t start until 9 am, you may drop off your kiddos as early as 7:30 am. Once your child checks in, their fun begins. Free play is a critical component of our camp. It also children to use their imagination and creativity. Campers also participate in board games, watch movies, and some even practice karate.

Campers bring their lunch and snacks. We usually have lunch at a local park. This gives campers the opportunity to run off energy. Kids who attend Legacy MMA Adventure camp get more than the recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise.

Field trips are daily highlights. If you talk to any of our campers, they’ll tell you they absolutely love field trips. We take them daily which is what sets us apart from other summer programs. Trips include:

  • Atlanta Zoo

  • Skate Country

  • Nitro Zone

  • Baseball games (Gwinnett Stripers)

  • Movies

  • Stars and Strikes

  • Local farms

  • Area splash pads

  • Parks

  • Art Barn

  • Legoland

  • World of Coca Cola

  • Fernbank

  • Sky Zone

Camp ends with daily karate classes. Your children aren’t just here to occupy their time. They are here to grow, learn, and develop discipline, self-control, and respect. For our after-school kids, they will continue to progress and improve. For some in summer camp, this will be their first-time learning karate. For those kiddos, we’re more relaxed and focus on teaching the basics. When we asked former campers why they loved summer camp, they told us it’s because of karate. Camp karate is more playful.

We are looking forward to having your children join us this summer. You can enjoy your summer too knowing that while you’re at work, your kids are having fun and safe. Our camp counselors have gone through extensive security screenings. Some are MMA students and coaches. You’ve probably met some of them already.  Camp registration is open. For a limited time, you can snag our lowest rate of $99/week by April 1, 2020.
