Digging for Treasure!

Legacy MMA Summer Camp is a place where campers go on ongoing adventures. This week isn’t any different. Each day is like digging for treasure. You never know the fun campers will have until you get there and see their smiles and excitement. Here’s this week’s lineup.

Monday, June 15, 2020—Stars and Strikes

Campers love that they can count on Monday for Stars and Strikes. The treasure they get here is simply playing fun arcade games. We love it because it’s a safe and healthy place for our campers to play. Sometimes, adults join campers and play with them. We get the building to ourselves! Thanks, Stars and Strikes!

Tuesday, June 16, 2020—Park Day

While we love structured play, unstructured play increases creativity. Park days are fun because campers get to play whatever they want. They can draw with chalk, play football, basketball, soccer, run wild, play on the playground, and use their imagination.

Wednesday, June 17, 2020—Consolidated Gold Mine

We’re digging for treasure today! Our campers will mine for gems at Consolidated Gold Mine. A favorite in Dahlonega, GA, this 100-year-old gold mine will transport campers to the gold rush in Georgia. Expect to hear stories and get handed some treasure!

Friday, June 19, 2020—Water Slide Day!

Campers will get wet and they’ll have loads of fun! Today, we’re getting out of water slides. Send them to camp wearing their swimsuits and sunscreen and make sure to pack an extra change of clothes and towels. Flips or water shoes fair better. Open-toe sandals you don’t mind getting wet will work well too.

Gems of all kinds!

We’ll leave you with this. Anything you deem valuable is a treasure. For all of us at Legacy MMA, our karate and MMA students, our staff, our campers—that’s our treasure.  It doesn’t matter the color, sex, religion—anything—our campers, students, and staff are, we value and love them. While 2020 still seems to still leave us uncertain, the value we place in those with us this summer is guaranteed.
