Making Camp Amazing Post COVID-19
/We are so excited to open our doors once more and have your kiddos with us again! May is an interesting month. Kids are still doing digital learning and at the end of the month, our summer camp officially starts. If you haven’t registered your child(ren) for summer camp yet, don’t worry. You still can! Camp is $99/week plus field trip expenses if campers attend all weeks or $115/week plus field trips.
Here’s how to make Legacy Summer Camp 2020 a positive experience.
Keep your kids home if they’re sick.
This goes without saying, but during this time, we’re extra sensitive to keeping everyone healthy. We’re going to be doing our part to clean our schools per guidelines. We would love your help in ensuring other students and staff don’t get sick. Please don’t send your kids to camp if they’re coughing or have a fever.
Encourage proper hygiene.
We know that the best way to stay healthy is to encourage our children to practice healthy habits. Review proper handwashing at home. When you enter our facility, all parents, staff, and students will be required to sanitize their hands. Students should also wash hands before eating their lunch and snacks. We’ll also encourage students to avoid touching their face.
Discuss positive behavior.
This is an incredibly trying season for all of us. Talk to your kiddo about positive behavior and being sensitive to those who might be impacted by COVID-19. Being kind to others now is even more paramount. We want all students to have fun and be happy. We start with a positive attitude and good behavior
Be ready for new rules.
We love giving our students the freedom to express themselves and have fun. However, we at any point may have to change our rules and procedures to make sure we keep everyone safe and healthy. Talk to your kiddos about being receptive to any changes in rules or procedures as they arise.
Don’t forget lunches and snacks!
Your kiddo will be with us all day. Remember to send a lunch, snacks, and drinks.
Fun! Fun! More Fun!
We have so missed all of you! You are all legacy family and we’re so thankful that you’re part of ours. Your kiddos should come with the expectation that they will have fun as they always do.
