Back to School 2020-2021 Options

It’s safe to say that this school year will be unlike any other we’ve ever experienced. While some of us hoped to send our students back to school even with the option for digital learning, school districts have made decisions and now we have to accept that leadership and do our best to navigate. As of now, we know that Gwinnett County Public Schools will start the school year with 100% virtual learning while Hall County, Bartow County, and Jefferson County schools will offer both in-person and digital/distance learning.

We understand the anxieties and frustration of the current climate and want to reassure all of our families that Legacy MMA is here to support whatever decisions you make.  We know that digital learning, while safe can limit physical activity that promotes focus and uses that energy we envy so much from our children. We know that being home isolated from other students during the school day impacts socialization. That is why we’ve decided to support families all over Gwinnett, Hall, Bartow, and Jefferson counties in Georgia with these options.

Digital Learning Camp

We are offering digital learning at all three of our locations (Sugar Hill, Buford, and Braselton).  Students will be assigned to small groups based on grade level and will be assisted in participating and completing course work. All students need to bring their digital devices (chargers too), headphones, lunch, snacks, and a bottle of water.

For $149/week per child ($139/week for each additional child), you get digital learning camp plus karate after school.  We’re structuring our days so it feels like a school day. Your students will get recess and breaks to allow them to be physically active and use up all their stored energy.

Space is limited so make sure to register.

After School Program

Legacy MMA is still offering our after school program but slightly differently. For those attending in-person instruction at our schools in Jefferson, Bartow, and Hall County schools, we will pick up students.

For those who are doing digital learning but would like your student to still participate in our after school karate curriculum, you are welcome to drop off your student at one of our locations after 2 pm.  This is a good idea if you want to make sure your students get socialization and physical activity for the day. And parents, let’s be real. You also need a break to work or do whatever else you need.

For $70/week per student ($60/week for each additional child), your student can play with friends and participate in class until 6:30 pm. Karate uniforms for new students will also be provided. It’s a pretty good deal. Register here.

Karate Classes

For families interested in karate only classes, we’ve got two options for you—in-person and Zoom Karate.  For $129/month, you come to class at the designated time for your student’s belt level and participate in class.

In-Person Karate
Karate students come to one of our locations.

Zoom Karate
I
f you feel more comfortable with digital karate, this is an option just for you. Once you register, you’ll be sent a link with the meeting code and password to participate at the designated time for your student’s belt level.

To register for either karate only or Zoom Karate, Call 678-541-5254 or email: Legacy MMA Club legacymmaclub@gmail.com.
